Prime location
This large 7 bedroom ‘home from home’ is located on Downs View & enjoys a prime location in Bude. The town house can be found opposite the golf course & is located approximately 200m level walking distance from Crooklets Beach, & a stones throw from Summerleaze Beach. Both are great for surfing, walking, playing and sun-bathing.
Bude is famous for its sea pool and both beaches have good amenities including public toilets, beach side cafes and are lifeguarded by the RNLI from 10am – 6pm from May to September.
About the House
The house has four large communal areas (living room with additional double sofa bed, library, kitchen dinner and indoor/outdoor room) a well-equipped utility room and downstairs toilet. The kitchen has two ovens, a five ring gas hob with extractor fan, dishwasher and an American style fridge freezer. There is a large dining table situated in the indoor/outdoor room. There are additional tables and chairs around the ground floor for flexible eating.
Six of the 7 double bedrooms are en-suite and there‘s the addition of a large family bathroom (with bath and shower)
The house has a garden to the front and rear. The outdoor space hosts a large trampoline, outdoor hot shower (for the return from the beach) and seating area.
Free parking is found along the road in front of the property.
Exploring the area
If you want a day or two away from Bude beaches the coastal path in both directions can take you to other coves and beaches. Both walks have amazing views.
In one direction you will find Northcott, sandymouth and duckpool and in the other directions, widemouth and blackrock.
The geology, of the area, brings people to visit and study from far and wide.
The town centre is a short walk which has lots of independent shops, including well stocked surf shops, a Sainsbury’s, pharmacy’s, bars and restaurants. It is all within easy walking distance.
If you wish to explore what the rest that Cornwall has to offer the A39 (the Atlantic highway) is easily accessed from Bude and can take you to popular tourist spots such as Port Isaac, Boscastle, Tintagel , Padstow, and Clovelly to name a few or further a field if you so wish.
